Leigh Wood

Leigh Wood is General Manager of KUAF, the area’s NPR station. She grew up in Fayetteville and holds a B.A. and M.A. in English from the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Leigh produces several podcasts for KUAF, including Resilient Black Women, The R Word, The Beloved Community, as well as occasionally hosting the weekly music program, The Vinyl Hour. In addition to producing content that challenges and fosters honest conversations, she also loves to listen to music and spend time outdoors with her husband and two children.
